Enterprise Information Systems, UW-Stout | July 2022 - August 2023

  • Assisted with keeping the university website running smoothly using Drupal, regularly updating modules and fixing bugs as they came up
  • Built and styled web pages using HTML, CSS, Twig, and PHP to create functional, user-friendly content
  • Set up and maintained my local development environment with Git, Docker, and mac terminal to test changes before pushing them live
  • Ran accessibility audits with DubBot to make sure our site was usable for everyone and fixed any issues I found, managing to raise our score from 60% to over 90%
  • Worked closely with the campus marketing team to bring their design ideas to life on the web

Stout Student Association, UW-Stout | May 2023 - May 2025

  • Led our student senate at our weekly meetings and represented UW-Stout at monthly statewide meetings, advocating for student interests with UW System leadership
  • Coordinated the annual budget review process where we worked with 13 campus departments to evaluate and recommend segregated fee rates
  • Managed a team of 8 student directors, meeting regularly to support their growth and ensure they were thriving in their roles
  • Organized our organization's 100-year celebration, bringing together alumni from across four decades to celebrate our history
  • Worked with team members who were struggling to get back on track, creating supportive plans while maintaining our organizational standards

Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Communication Specialist

Stout Student Association, UW-Stout | May 2022 - May 2023

  • Took on two leadership roles at once, working on equity initiatives while also handling all of our organization's communications
  • Led our EDI Council and organized diversity programming and awareness campaigns to make campus more inclusive
  • Kept our website updated, built training courses in Canvas for new members, and sent out weekly emails to keep everyone informed
  • Set up tabling events and ran surveys that reached over 100 students to hear what issues mattered most to them
  • Represented student voices on multiple university committees including equity in mental health, and long range planning.
